Educating Parents

The CTC Hebrew School encourages parents to play a role in their children's Jewish education. To help parents have the knowledge they need to play such a role, the CTC Hebrew School will provide a weekly adult education class at the same time and location that the children are in school. To learn more about the important role parents have in the education of their children, visit http://njop.org/html/ParentsareTeachers.htm

Additionally, all parents will have the opportunity to take part in an adult Hebrew learning program called Twebrew School . The goal of program is to give people with no background the ability to read Hebrew. Upon completion of the 5 week program, adults will be able to read the Shema, Amida (silent prayer), and other parts of the Siddur (prayer book). Over 200,000 adults' world-wide have participated in this proven program.

Our goal is to engage the parents so that that they will be stronger role models for their children.
